KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 3 (Bernama) — Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd (Serba Dinamik) plans to further push its latest niche offering – a QR code-based parking solutions named Qwik Pay – not only in Malaysia but also in countries where the company has presence, particularly Indonesia.
“Indonesia is one of the big markets we are looking at and we have been in Indonesia for more than 10 years, so it is not a country new to us.
“The existing government in the country is proactive. Like Malaysia, it is also embracing the digital economy. And with a vast population of more than 200 million people, we cannot afford to leave the country out,” said Serba Dinamik group chief executive officer Datuk Dr Ir Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah on talk show ‘Bernama Today’.
He added that a subsidiary company is doing the networking in Indonesia to a good response and hoping to close as many deals as possible with parking operators there.
On the same programme, Serba Dinamik chief technology officer Kalaikovan Antony said the QR code-based solutions will alleviate parking woes faced by a majority of the public.
“We are also focusing on street parking and valet parking as well as covering all the parking-related processes,” said Kalaikovan during the talk show today.
He added that the company is also moving to other areas such as transportation, where commuters can use the app as a transport ticket, shopping and dining with Qwik Pay.
The app has been downloaded more than 10,000 times, and can be used at 10 sites in the Klang Valley.
