KUCHING: Sixty boxes of various food items have been donated to Kota Samarahan Municipal Council (MPKS) for its councillors and staff members who helped directly in the enforcement of the movement control order (MCO) and conditional movement control order (CMCO).
Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd made the donation yesterday for 30 councillors and 30 staff members in appreciation for helping the state government during the Covid-19 crisis, and also in view of the coming Hari Raya festivities.
In a press statement issued yesterday, MPKS walikota Datuk Peter Minos thanked Serba Dinamik for its kindness to frontliners.
“By helping, private companies show the very best of themselves especially now when we are all facing a health crisis.
“For me, seeing my enforcement staff enforcing the MCO and CMCO and distributing 30,000 face masks in Kota Samarahan recently, come rain or shine really touched me. They deserve to be thanked and given tokens of appreciation,” he said.
