China Looking at Potential Partnership for Infrastructure and Tourism Investment in Sarawak

Kuching has potential to be the preferred city for infrastructure investment, tourism, technology and business hub in the region

KUCHING, 18 JAN: RESONICS Consultancy collaborated with Vybe Engineering Sdn Bhd on potential projects for future transportation and cities development in Sarawak. The collaboration has attracted few potential new investments which could be a game changer in the Digital Economy and Smart City initiatives especially for a capital city like Kuching.

According to Effy Akhbarizam, CEO of Vybe Engineering Sdn Bhd “China is seriously looking at Sarawak as a location for investment. We are also actively exploring with RESONICS Consultancy on the market for 200 million Muslims in China in order to make Kuching as a preferred location for Haj and Umrah delegations in the region to transit and attend education before their departure to the Middle East.”

RESONICS Consultancy is currently working on Smart City and Industry 4.0 developments together with a public university in Kota Samarahan. In addition, securing investments and creating more new jobs is also the focus area for RESONICS Consultancy. The aim for RESONICS Consultancy is to make Kuching as a preferred infrastructure investment, tourism, technology and entrepreneurs hub in the region.
